Mendi Friend Referral Program Terms & Conditions
Mendi Innovations AB (“Mendi,” “we,” or “us”) invites selected Mendi users (“Customers”) to participate in our Friend Referral Program (the “Program”).
By participating, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to use the Program in accordance with its guidelines.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time and for any reason.
Participation is also subject to Mendi’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
How the Program Works
Eligible Customers can refer friends, family, or colleagues to Mendi. When a referred individual (“Friend”) makes a qualifying purchase using your unique referral link:
Your Friend Saves 25%: The referred Friend will receive a 25% discount on their first purchase.
You Receive a Refund of 15%: Once the qualifying purchase is confirmed, you will be rewarded with a refund equal to 15% of your original Mendi purchase value.
The refund will be processed via Shopify to the same payment method you used for your Mendi account.
Rewards will be processed after a 30-day cooling-off period, starting from the date the referred Friend receives their purchase, in accordance with Mendi’s Money-Back Guarantee policy.
Eligibility
To participate, you must:
Be an active Customer of Mendi.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have received an official invitation to participate via in-app notification.
Making a Referral
Upon joining the Program, you will receive a personalized referral link.
This link may only be shared directly with individuals you know, such as friends, family, or colleagues.
Public sharing on forums, coupon sites, or social media platforms is not allowed.
Qualified Referrals
A referral is considered a Qualified Referral when:
The Friend completes a qualifying purchase using your referral link.
The Friend meets the Program’s eligibility criteria (e.g., they are a new customer and at least 18 years old).
The 30-day cooling-off period from the date of receipt has passed without any returns or cancellations.
Each Friend can only count as one Qualified Referral, and rewards are capped at three Qualified Referrals per Customer unless otherwise specified.
Rewards
Rewards are issued as refunds processed via Shopify to the same payment method used for your Mendi account.
Rewards are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or other formats unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Rewards are subject to verification, and Mendi reserves the right to refuse to process or issue rewards for any fraudulent, suspicious, or invalid transactions.
Mendi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the reward structure at any time, and rewards may be subject to availability.
Participant Compliance and Responsibilities
By participating in the Program, Customers agree to:
Compliance with Laws: Ensure that their participation complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including those related to referral marketing, data privacy, and tax obligations.
Ethical Referrals: Only share referral links with individuals you know personally, without engaging in misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent practices. Public sharing on coupon sites or unauthorized platforms is strictly prohibited.
Data Privacy: Ensure that any personal data shared as part of the referral process complies with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Participants must not misuse or exploit the personal information of referred Friends.
Tax Reporting: Assume full responsibility for reporting and paying any taxes associated with rewards received under the Program, as required by applicable law.
Fraud Prevention: Refrain from any actions that could be considered fraudulent, including creating multiple accounts, falsifying referrals, or abusing the Program in any way.
Mendi reserves the right to disqualify participants from the Program or revoke rewards if they fail to comply with these responsibilities.
Privacy
By participating, you authorize Mendi to collect and process personal information as necessary to administer the Program, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Liability
By participating in the Program, Customers agree to:
Release, indemnify, and hold harmless Mendi Innovations AB, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, directors, officers, licensors, partners, and agents from any liability or damages arising from participation in the Program.
Modifications to the Program
Mendi reserves the right to:Modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time and for any reason without prior notice.Adjust the type, availability, and value of rewards at its discretion.
